Post Work out snacks

It is important to replenish your body of lost nutrients after a work out.  Your body needs food to survive and I've put together a list of post work out goodies just for you!

  • Organic brown rice cake with peanut butter and a drizzle of honey (can also top with sliced banana)
  • 2 Tbs peanut butter and 1 Tbs honey mixed with a sliced apple
  • 1 cup of greek yogurt with a piece of fruit
  • boiled egg
  • turkey, spinach, and 1 oz of cheese in a tortilla wrap
  • Shakeology
  • cottage cheese and a piece of fruit
  • Results and Recover
  • Protein Bars
  • small salad
  • string cheese and fruit
  • nuts
  • Carrots and hummus
  • Trail mix

The best time to eat is immediately after a workout.  The sooner you replenish your body the better!   If you have any other ideas about what to eat post work out, feel free to post them below.  :)
