I DID IT! Insanity before and after

I did it!  I ran outside!  I haven't actually ran outside in 2 years!  It's been crazy and my stomach was in knots over it.  I even asked my husband  to run with me.  He is a MUCH better runner than I am and while I was breathless, he was not even a little out of breath.  Normally I can't stand running with him.  He's always "Do this, not that....blah blah blah."  This time it wasn't to bad.  He did correct my form and breathing technique but he did in a way that felt supportive and not hypocritical.
He ran about a 1.5 miles with me.  That's right - I ran over a mile.  And then R started to get crabby.  My hubby took him to the park so he could play.  And I RAN!  I ran a total of 2.25 miles today.  It felt really good.  I felt so accomplished.  I did my Les Mills Pump program as well as run.  That is a long work out day!  It was so worth it.  I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow but heck - I feel great.  OHHHHH!
I also finished Insanity.  Can't tell you how GREAT that feels!  Fantastic, amazing, phenomenal, relieving.  I'm so glad to be done with it.  I attribute Insanity to my ability to run 2.25 miles today - but I'm definitely glad its over.  It's an accomplishment and as soon as I get my shirt I'll post pictures of it. 
In addition to the awesomeness - I was able to purchase a used bike trailer for $50 from a local store!  Woot!  I've been wanting one and am so excited to start using it.  We will be getting our bikes tuned on pay day - then we get to go on a family bike ride. I'm so excited about the whole thing.

Vendor events

As an independent Beachbody Coach I am constantly working towards expanding my business.  One of the things I've decided to do is go to a few vendor events.  I didn't realize how much time, work, and effort it was going to take.  I mean, I get that I wasn't going to be able to "whip it up" in a hurry but man - details details details!  If you know me, you know I'm not a detailed person - so this is taking a lot of work!   I don't mind it though.  It gets my mind of things and lets me concentrate on work.  Plus I can watch a movie or two!  As soon as I get it all together I'll put pictures up and more information.  I'm not done with all I want to do so it needs to be PERFECT! Or close to it. :)

In other news.... Les Mills Pump  arrived today!  I'm so excited!  It was completely amazing!  I just about screeched when the Fedex guy brought up my three packages!   I'm going to record my experience with LMP.  It's going to be great - I hope!  I just need a good camera!  :)  Here are some pictures of me with my new stuff!

More good news - Just over 2 weeks of Insanity left!  Seriously - going to be great to be able to say "I finished" that program. And get a free shirt out of it!  All in all - a great day :)
