Ultimate Reset Day 1

Well, day 1 has been pretty good.   I've been drinking a lot of water.  And by a lot - I mean an entire gallon.   I started off my day with a glass of water with 3 shakes of mineralize, 10 drops of Oxygenize, and 2 capsules of Optimize.  Not to bad.  Easy enough.  These are taken on an empty stomach.  Then I wait 30 minutes before eating.    For Breakfast, I had 2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of toast, and kale.
This is actually pretty close to what I eat on a daily basis.  Except I don't eat kale and there is butter on my toast.   This was my first time eating kale.   I took one bite and thought it was gross.  I tried to mask the flavor with the eggs.   As I was chewing the kale and thinking how disgusting it was, it tried to kill me.  A tiny piece wiggled it's way to my wind pipe.  I couldn't get it out and was afraid I was going to die by chocking on kale.   After what seemed like several minutes, the pesky piece found it's way out of my windpipe and down the esophagus.   After that I decided the kale was now known as the asshole vegetable.  This breakfast kept me very full, and I was surprised that I didn't feel hungry before lunch.

For lunch, I had the micro salad.  The salad was HUGE!  It took me about an hour to eat it.  It was good and very filling.  I think I will stick to making my own salad dressing.  It was yummy.  For some reason, I was overly ecstatic that I was able to add 1/3 cup of seeds and nuts.  I used a mixture of raw sunflower seeds, raw pumpkin seeds, and just a touch of slivered almonds.  They were the highlight of the salad.

Then we moved onto this gem.  Alkanize.  The worst thing I've ever tried in my entire life.  It was just awful.  Like drinking seaweed really.   From what I'm told - I will get used to it and eventually like it.  We'll see.  I about lost it after I drank it.  Definitely had to plug my  nose and close my eyes for this one!   My next meal after this was a snack - but since I got a late start to the day I didn't really want one and wasn't all that hungry.  I went strait for dinner.

This meal will be on my remake list for sure.  salmon, steamed asparagus, and potatoes.  It was great, well rounded, and satisfying.  The only thing I missed was salt.  I'm crazy about it.  I typically would add it to the asparagus and potatoes.  I'm sure my taste buds will eventually get used to the lack of salt and my body will thank me.

Overall a productive day. The only exercise allowed is walking or yoga.  I did yoga after breakfast.  I did get a little tired and a bit of a headache towards the end of the evening.  I've read this is normal and I will feel better after tomorrow.  Until then, it's important that I continue drinking lots of water to flush out the toxins.   Here's hoping tomorrow has food that is just as yummy!  <3  20 days and counting!

  1. Awesome. You had me laughing AND cringing with you :) Questions - how do you buy your salmon & what is the recipe for that awesome looking salad? You'll get used to the 'no salt' - it takes a bit, but it's easy once you do. Now, everything I taste WITH salt makes me feel like I'm just licking a salt lick :/
